Making Iced Coffee at Home

It's summertime, and that can mean only one thing — time to snuggle up with a soft blanket and a big ol' pot of steaming hot coffee.

No? Well fine! I got sweaty just typing that anyway.

Instead try these handy instructions for brewing your own jug of cold brew concentrate.

Once you've got the concentrate, your options are limitless! Mix it with water, skim milk, 2% milk, whole milk......or why not, mix it with half and half. Want a little booze in there? Whatever floats your boat! I'm not here to judge. You can even mix in a little mint for a drink that tastes like liquid summer.

Some of you like sweetener in your coffee. Unfortunately, regular sugar often has a tough time dissolving in cold drinks. Well I'm here to help, so here we go.

Combine equal parts sugar and water in a sauce pan on the stove. Heat it until all the sugar dissolves into the water. Now cool it off. Bam! You just made simple syrup.

I feel like we've all learned a lot today. Head over the the Reboot Roasting store, grab a bag of your favorite coffee, and get creative with your newly discovered cold brewing skills.

Have a great summer!

Matt
